Our Special Needs Policy aims to ensure that the appropriate procedures are in place to enable us to make an accurate and appropriate assessment of the needs of students who may have special educational needs.
Aim:
Identify the educational needs of all incoming students and to review the needs of current students and to provide for identified needs.
Ensure the students with special needs achieve full potential.
Promote a caring and inclusive community in which such students will develop self-esteem, dignity, responsibility and respect.
Make every effort to integrate students with special needs into the whole school community.
Create an awareness of special needs within the school community, and a sense of social justice.
