Recession
Recession, Recession you give a bad impression,
You're cutting jobs so fast,
That I don't know if mine will last.
We've been told to tighten our belts,
The credit crunch is really being felt,
So many people have lost their jobs,
We're tired of listening to Eddie Hobbs.
Bankers and Builders got us into this mess,
Lenihan and Cowen are trying their best,
Families are now going into the red,
Trying to keep a roof over their head,
No one is buying, Money is scarce,
People are worried,
About what they have to face,
George Lee has us all driven mad,
Things have never been this bad.

Late for school
Oh no! I'm late for school again,
I know, Ill say I forgot my pen.
Or will I say my brother hid my bike?
And then to school I had to hike.
Or shall I say I was kidnapped again?
And held for ransom by a hen!
Or perhaps I got lost in a maze on the way,
And then ran into a bale of hay.
Or my keys got caught in the door,
Whatever the excuse I'm in trouble for sure!
